As a coach and teacher, I have devoted my time to learning and improving the skills that are necessary to be a professional educator. I believe I am capable of great achievement in the teaching profession.
I have an extensive background in special needs care and education having worked one-on-one with children and adolescents who have ADHD, autism, FAS, asberger's syndrome, cerebral palsy, sexual assault issues, oppositional defiance, poor home lives and troubled development. I have the patience, empathy, creativity, and humour to help learners who have different needs succeed.
I am very technologically inclined, adaptable, and actively pursue new trends which often puts me in a position to educate those (teachers and students alike) who are not as inclined.
I actively pursue opportunities to be creative and showcase my love for music and performance and my musical and artistic skill is used in the classroom.
Thank you for considering me for employment with your institution. I very much look forward to speaking with you in person and encourage you to interview me further.
